During his suburban Connecticut upbringing, Mark was hopped-up on a steady diet of Sugar Smacks and 70′s-induced, Saturday
morning television. He zeroed-in on the zany voices of VO greats Mel Blanc, Frank Welker, Daws Butler and Bill Cosby (HEY-HEY-HEY!!!). He soon became a cartoon-fueled mimic and impersonator (Mark was often ‘corrected’ for sounding a little TOO much like his school teachers).
After moving out West to San Francisco in the 90’s, he discovered that Voiceover was actually a ‘real’ career! (Thank you, Mrs. Doubtfire!) Diving-in head first, Mark became driven in his quest to become a part of this peculiar and engaging world of VO. It wasn’t long before a wonderful talent agent scooped him up and tossed him into the baptismal fire of all that is voiceover with his very first radio spot for ‘Lombardi Sports’ in 1999.
Flash-forward to today, Mark has never looked back. It’s STILL the greatest career move this fella could’ve ever made. Completely fulfilling, never feels like work and always grateful for the opportunity to offer his vocal services to whoever needs it. (Only now without the Sugar Smacks…)
